Victoria's smile, laugh, and spirit will forever live in our hearts. We welcome all who loved her or have been touched by her to write a special sentiment, memory, or quote in honor of the precious time we got to know and love her.

Although I feel a part of my heart missing all of the time, I cannot help but smile when I think of you. I love to reminisce and replay conversations that we used to have in college while laying in bed at night. I do this simply for the comfort in knowing how you always made me feel happy. You were the BEST roomie anyone could ask for (even though you DID take up the WHOLE closet!) Your sense of value for your family and friends was inspirational. Victoria, I feel truly blessed to have had you in my life. You were a fabulous friend and I miss you dearly. I promise to always carry your spirit with me, as you will forever be "the wind beneath my wings." I absolutely LOVE you to pieces. Until we meet again my friend...

-- Kerri Connelly (Morin)

Nothing in life really prepares us for the death of a loved one or friend, especially when the death is so unbelievable and unexpected. Victoria was a friendly face from home when I would see her at college, and a friendly hug when running into each other at home in New Jersey on summer breaks. Victoria was bright and energetic, she made you feel special in her own genuine way. Victoria holds a special place in my heart, her family and friends remain in my thoughts and prayers. The foundation is a lovely tribute to a well deserving person, and cause.

-- Tina Bolin-Ruane

I was serving as a crew member on the QE2 back in 1995-1996. I distinctly remember a very kind passenger named Victoria traveling with her Grandmother, I believe. After reading the tributes, this must be the same wonderful person who blessed us with her kindness on that voyage. Please, is this the same Victoria? Either way, I have shed tears and said prayers for her and her family as I have read your words. God bless you all!

-- Cole Norm

Victoria throughout my life you have been this constant and extraordinary source of love, laughter, courage, wisdom, support, and the deepest friendship I will ever know. You exuded this rare sort of beauty that changed all those who knew you. You also had the ability to make me feel incredibly comfortable wherever we were, and I would even catch you checking up on me to make sure I was having a good time. I knew that I was blessed to have the best big sister around, but what I was also given was my greatest friend who will forever be the most influential person in my life. Victoria you raised the bar for us big sisters, but I promise you I will strive to be as central in Diana and David's life as you have always been and always be in mine. I love you and I miss you....

-- Christina Seide

I was in Hoboken last weekend visiting friends & have been thinking about you so much since then. To be there reminded me of all the wonderful times we had together and how blessed I am to have had such a wonderful friend for so many years. When I think about the time we spent together a smile automatically appears, you had such an optimistic outlook on life and as a result of our friendship I know I am a better person. We all miss you so much!

-- Love, Maureen McGinn

I still can’t believe that you are not here with us. I just keep thinking that you are on a long vacation and one day there you’ll be! We think of you every single day and miss you terribly! I hope that you can see your nephew growing up and know that we say hello to his godmother in heaven every morning and night. I will forever tell him what a special person you were and how excited you were for his arrival. I feel so honored to be a part of this foundation and to share with everyone what a fabulous person you were. You finally get to be the star you always dreamed of! You will always be in our hearts and thoughts forever.

-- Love, Frannie and Sam

Most of the time I try to believe you are waiting for me to come and join you. Sitting by the beach with Keith and Peter, sending down people to watch over all of us from time to time. Victoria, you are my inspiration to keep living because I saw how hard you wanted to survive. I miss you more every day and I would give anything to have you back. But I know I can’t so I will try to live enough for the both of us so that when I see you again I'll have something good to tell you, because I know how mad you'd get when I'd have no good dirt. But you have to promise to forgive me if I mess up a few times while we’re apart OK. I love you and I will see you soon.

-- Your loving husband, Michael

I am writing to you today because you were on my mind more than usual, if that is even possible. Today, we went to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center to donate a check on your behalf. It was the first time I have been there since visiting you last April. It was such a bittersweet trip - BITTER because you weren't there making the donation with us, and SWEET because we were able to make a sizable donation on your behalf. You wouldn't believe the outpouring your foundation has received...and all because of you! You touched the lives of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing you, and even those who didn't. Our goal is to find a cure for the disease that took you away from us - NO one should ever have to lose their best friend. I miss you more than you will ever know. Not a day (or even an hour) goes by that I don't think about you - you are a part of everything I do. I am comforted by your presence and the little unexpected reminders. EVERY time I see a smiley face or a butterfly, I think of you...and I smile. In fact, as we were leaving the hospital today we noticed a butterfly poster on the wall and suddenly I knew that you were there making the donation with us after all!

You were the happiest person I ever knew and you were able to spread this happiness to everyone around you. Even today, you can make me smile by just thinking of you. There are so many wonderful memories for me to keep you in my thoughts each day. I wish you could be here to see Isabella grow, but I know you watch over us and you'll always be her "angel". We miss you so much!

Your grace, elegance, and strength is unmatchable. I am proud to have known you and fortunate enough to have you as part of my family. Not a day will go by without my reminding your nephews of their beautiful Aunt Victoria who loved them and continues to watch over them. And that when they are alone or at play and a butterfly is near, not to push it away but to bring it close to their hearts because it is you just saying I love you.
