Master Zaheerudeen Adahize Mustapha

Mrs Mustapha Khadijat became a beneficiary when she was six months pregnant. She had previously experienced a stillbirth and an ectopic pregnancy. After moving to Akure, she received bi-monthly feeding support, regular check-ins and the hospital items needed for delivery. At 36 weeks she went into labour and, when labour did not progress and the baby was in distress, an emergency Caesarean section was performed. VSF paid the surgery and related medical expenses. The latest programme register records that Zaheerudeen later died at 18 months. We remember his life with care and hold his family in our thoughts.
