Mrs Roseline Daudu’s life was a series of unfortunate events until she stumbled upon Victoria’s Smile Foundation, a non-governmental organization that helped to transform her life. She was six months pregnant when she became a beneficiary of the foundation on the 13th of July 2022. When the team visited her one-room apartment in a storey building, they noticed that mosquitoes might pose a threat to her health and that of her unborn child. Roseline had a torn mosquito net that she used, which the foundation replaced. She was also given food items twice a month, and the foundation paid for all her medical bills. Despite these efforts, Roseline’s health continued to deteriorate. She suffered from general malaise and weakness and was advised to take glucose and milk regularly. Victoria’s Smile Foundation provided the necessary funds for these items. On the day of delivery, Roseline underwent a C-section, and the foundation paid for all the bills. She gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, and the foundation provided a hospital bag containing all the necessary items for both mother and child. The foundation didn’t stop there. The team participated in the Christening of the baby girl and continued to give Roseline her bimonthly stipend as promised. They also regularly checked on the mother and child to ensure their well-being. Thanks to Victoria’s Smile Foundation, Roseline’s life changed for the better. She went from being a struggling pregnant woman to a proud mother of a healthy baby girl. The foundation provided her with the necessary support and resources to help her through a challenging time in her life. She will forever be grateful for the kindness and compassion shown by Victoria’s Smile Foundation.
